Mothraya will fly around the battle to kill Mega Man. He must use Ring Boomerang at its red button, also Drill Bomb and Dust Crusher are good options. Also, he must slide under it to avoid the spike that destroys a part of the floor and must be careful, as he dies when he falls into the pit. Simply, Mega Man must not try to slide where it'll fire its spike as that can attack him and he dies. In normal mode, the spike will damage him a little. In hard mode, the spike will damage him badly.

  • Mothraya (モスラーヤ Mosurāya?) is a giant robotic moth, and is the boss of Cossack Stage 1 in Mega Man 4. The red flashing light is its weak point, and Ring Boomerang is the best weapon to use (though Drill Bomb, Pharaoh Shot, and Dust Crusher are also good options). It can thrust its spike-tipped "proboscis" into the floor, causing a part of the floor to be destroyed. The Pharaoh Shot, while it deals normal damage, can be used to deal additional damage if the player is willing to risk moving along the floor with the boss.
  • Mothraya is a mid boss from Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel. Mothraya is a giant moth that attacks by shooting a projectile and collapsing the floor over a spike trap. After shooting its projectile, it will teleport away, giving less time to hit it. Mothraya can be killed quickly by one usage of the Freudenzwinger. It is based on the Mega Man 4 boss of the same name. It is fought in the Phalanx Cathedral Ruins (Eifer's stage).
