If you CC the Slavemaster for a few seconds prior to actually pulling them, you can prevent the slaves from becoming hostile. This includes everything from Scatter Shot to Sap and Sheep. Just have the puller/tank damage the Slavemaster after a count of five and you will be able to deny them their cry for help.

The quickest way to end the fight and resume moving forward is to attack only the Slavemaster while doing minimal or no damage to the slaves. Provided you don't inflict too much damage on them, the slaves will cease attacking you upon the death of the Slavemaster; they will thank you for setting them free and run off.
