La-Reia's Crystal was discovered in the Nightsister's mansion on Pzob. Velok used it to absorb the energy used in a scam whereby he tricked several Masters into believing they were bringing Lyn-Char Beorht back to life. These Masters included the spirits of La-Reia Beorht, Sira Ves, Aerianna Shun and Seren Teancum Mordavo, as well as the living Ember Rekali and Halla Kitani Kaijus. Velok and Feak Motal, who impersonated Lyn during the charade, also contributed. The crystal contained a massive amount of energy, heavily biased towards the Dark Side of the Force. It resided aboard the Wayward Son for several months; eventually, he lent it to Ald Sorosel in his role as 'Darth Sarastro' of the Dark Council.

It was blood-bonded by Ashin Varanin , and she used it at the Battle of Mon Calamari to enhance the harmonization effect she'd learned from the Jukre Star Sailors. It began to drain power from its contributors who were present, Velok and Halla Kitani Kaijus. Velok was able to counter the drain; Halla was not, and Ashin used the crystal to permanently steal Halla's power. She used the power to continue the Jukre tuning, and then to launch a telepathic strike at Sivter. She overstressed and shattered the crystal. Its fragments were mounted inside the armour known as Contempt, by the alchemist Darth Kharonos.
