All ostrich need to eat fodder daily, but an adult can be let out to graze on grass instead. A healthy ostrich can lay an egg once every 7 days, only if it's inside. The quality of the ostrich egg will depend on the ostrichs affection with you and it's health. To raise it's affection a cow may be brushed and pet daily. It takes 14 days for a pregnant ostrich to give birth and another 15 days for a chick to mature into an adult.
