Titian was a sixteenth century Italian painter. Walter Donovan owned some of Titian's work and kept it at his Venetian apartment around 1938. That year, while staying in Venice, Marcus Brody spoke of Titian's Presentation of the Virgin being part of the Galleria dell'Accademia's art collection to Indiana Jones.
