The Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center (FS-ISAC) is one of the oldest private information-sharing initiatives in the United States. It was established in 1999 by the financial services sector in response to Presidential Decision Directive 63, which mandated that the public and private sectors share information about physical and cyber security threats and vulnerabilities to help protect U.S. critical infrastructure.
