Parasitic Tentacles are enemies from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. These long appendages hang from the inside of Lord Jabu-Jabu. The tentacles can only be defeated using the Boomerang. When Link damages a Parasitic Tentacle once, it retreats into the ceiling and hides, forcing Link to lure it back out. There are a total of three Parasitic Tentacles in the dungeon. If Link heads back and goes straight at the fork in the road, he will find the second Parasitic Tentacle. He receives nothing for defeating it; however, the obstruction blocking the final path is removed.

  • Parasitic Tentacles are enemies from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. If Link goes left at the three way fork in the road near the Tailpasarans, he will find two paths. The first is blocked by a thick electrical obstruction. The second path leads to the first Tentacle. After defeating it, Link obtains the Dungeon Map, and the obstruction in front of the other path is removed. If Link heads back and goes straight at the fork in the road, he will find the second Parasitic Tentacle. He receives nothing for defeating it; however, the obstruction blocking the final path is removed. By heading right at the fork and taking the left path opposite of the room in which Link received the Boomerang, Link will find the final Parasitic Tentacle. After defeating it, the green appendage in the room full of holes will disappear. By falling down the hole that had been blocked, Link will be able to reach the mini-boss, Bigocto.
