Denny Crane takes old flame Bella's case against the Coalition Against Testing Animals or C.O.T.A., an animal rights group opposed to her cosmetic testing procedures. She denounces them as 'eco-terrorists.' They pelted her with blue dye as a protest against her firm's torturing of rabbits to test cosmetics. Bella's daughter Bethany is opposing counsel. Denny realizes that he wants to end it with Bella because he's still in love with Bethany.
