Brick Mode is a type of building used when building on a player's Property. Brick Mode is triggered when the player attempts to put a brick on their property while in Model Mode or when they select the icon on the bottom bar in Model Mode and either click or press shift near a model (pressing shift near a model will load that model). The player's Minifigure can not move or walk while in Brick Mode and instead the camera can be moved by either using the WASD keys and right mouse button or a special GUI element in the upper left corner of the screen. There is currently a 500 brick limit to the number of bricks a player can use for a single model in Brick Mode.

While in Brick Mode, the player can place bricks on his or her property to create custom models, move bricks around, paint the bricks in a variety of different colors, clone bricks (provided the player has enough in his or her backpack), adjust the hinges of bricks (when it applies), and put bricks away. Brick Mode is exited and the model saved by clicking on an arrow icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
