He played junior hockey for the Hamilton Red Wings in 1961-62, winning the Memorial Cup that season. He turned pro in 1962-63, playing mostly for the Pittsburgh Hornets and getting into 3 games for the Detroit Red Wings. He also played for the Hamilton Red Wings in their game against the Soviet team. After this season he played in the minor pros. The Buffalo Bisons accquired him from Detroit in 1965. The St. Louis Blues then got him from the Bisons in 1969, but he did not see any action for the Blues until 1972-73. In that season he played 10 games for the Blues.
