She was scheduled to attend the 2013 Brian Jessel BMW Cabriolet Charity Gala along was pop musician Elise Estrada, Mary Zilba of The Real Housewives of Vancouver, and Miss World Canada chief executive officer Ike Lalji. Munro teaches dance to youth. Munro made the top 20 semifinals at Miss World 2013, which was held on September 28, 2013 at Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center in Bali, Indonesia. Munro placed 5th in the Final Talent Competition where she was the only dancer out of 70 contestants whose talent was dancing, to place in the Top 5. Currently, Munro is the only winner who has placed this high representing Canada in the last decade, placing higher than Garrido and Santos at the Miss World Competition.
