Always nice to be in the third round of a contest and have a horribly predictable match going on. Samus beating Rikku was never in doubt, and this was one of those "How much % will the winner get?" deals. The only notable thing is that even third-rate Square vs Nintendo matches draw high vote totals. Yeah, Samus running through her division was predictable as hell and left zero indication at all of her upcoming near-collapse.

The only notable thing is that even third-rate Square vs Nintendo matches draw high vote totals. One other thing of note however is that this was my favorite sprite round theme since 2002. It causes a nice mind lapse if you stare at the pic too long, because it starts to look like the background is the foreground with a 3D hole punched through it. But I'm weird and find amusement in silly things, so moving on... Yeah, Samus running through her division was predictable as hell and left zero indication at all of her upcoming near-collapse.
