During the Padawan massacre, he, along with fellow Jedi padawans Cassus Rhade and Cem Telo, as well as their master, Karbov Farlander, searched the Galaxy to deal justice to the perpetrators of the massacre. During the conflict, Aurov Meji's father was killed in a duel with his former master Estiecian on Vendaxa, who also was killed. Although Aurov could not exact justice onto his master, he did so onto Jedi master Lionna Antillies during a duel on Kohlma. After the Council cleared the padawans of any wrongdoing, Aurov studied in the Jedi Archives until the start of the Jedi Civil War. Aurov fought against the Sith army of Revan, eventually going to Korriban and falling to the dark side after studying the teachings of a holocron belonging to Darth Andeddu, to find a way to defeat Revan. Continually searching for a way to defeat the Dark Lord, Aurov was unable to sense Revan's redemption and his defeat of Malak, meaning that his quest to defeat Revan continued for hundreds of years. Meji was killed shortly after the Galactic War, and after his death his will and lightsaber were discovered by a Jedi search team, finally revealing to the Order what happened to the heri to the Meji legacy. He requested in his will that his double bladed purple lightsaber, along with his holocron, would be stored in the vault of the Jedi Archives until a worthy Meji could claim it, that Jedi was Senu Meji during the Clone Wars.
