  • Around the temple there are statues, usually of at least two meters, of deities and mythical beings, especially of gods related to land, rocks, silver and gold. During the time that preceded the establishment of the shinobi villages, the monks were led and followed the teachings of Chitose. The Temple is surrounded by dense forests that climbs the bottom of a mountainous terrain, as is common in the Land of Mines. The monastery was carved into the rock with various iron and steel beams that support its architecture.

The monastery was carved into the rock with various iron and steel beams that support its architecture. The resident monks at the Iron Temple usually spend most of their time in long moments of prayer and meditation. In addition, besides their spiritual training, many monks are dedicated to learning various types of ninjutsu and barrier techniques. Moreover, the monastery is protected by a barrier technique originated from a rock considered sacred by the monks who is supported by several seals and by some monks' chakra, preventing intruders from invading the Temple and ensuring the peace of the monks inside.
