  • Thursday, August 19, 2010, 10:02 AM Nepsa Ice Fields The famous ice fields of Nepsa are full of the finest ice and snow in the galaxy. Picturesque mounds lie across the ground as the light from the sun shimmers across them. Multiple colorful flags and banners are inserted into the ground, and state-approved snowmen are strategically placed in key tourist spots. Everywhere you look, creatures of all races are united in the common pursuit of skiing. All, and once again, as last year, Rodimus Prime himself is presiding as judge. He generally doesn't particularly enjoy watching Autobots and Junkions beating each other stupid (although there have been more than a few rousing battles during the Olympics that he's enjoyed cheering on), but he tends to sign up for this particular event specifically to make sure none of his own get too badly hurt. He waves to everyone. "Hnh. Small crowd this year," he mutters, then louder says, "I think you all know the drill by now. Rumble until there's only one left standing. Top three win the medals. This year, Fortress Maximus has offerred to provide energon boosts to anyone in need, so if you find yourselves running out of steam, take advantage of that! Be good sports about this, though, and watch the ganging up. Good luck to you all, and... let's begin!" Temple Dog stands majestically on all fours atop a ski slope hill that is the geographical 'arena wall' of this place of the Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny: Good Guy Edition. At the word from Judge Prime, he romps down the hill like a St Bernard making deep muted THUMPS with ever paw hitting the powder snow. And he leaps into the fray front paws first, right for the torso of Jetfire. "Ho!" Combat: Temple Dog misses Jetfire with his Paws o' Power (Punch) attack! A Free-for-all? Now that's Scattershot's kind of event. Attacking anyone and everyone, no worries about collateral damage or invalid targets or anything else that tends to bother him. Scattershot checks the charge on his weapons and then unleashes a spray of pellets at Keeper. "That's the spirit!" he shouts approvingly. "No hesitation! Let 'em have it!" Combat: Scattershot strikes Temple Dog with his Automatic Pellet Rifle attack! Jayson Redfield has always liked a good fight. Even if he's not taking part. At this time the EDC youth is sitting with other gathered spectators, wearing a simple sweater which is probably not warm enough for most people, considering all the snow on Nepsa, but it doesn't seem to bother him. He is also wearing a scarf, which he idly adjusts as he watches the free-for-all start. "Wonder who's gonna come out on top," he muses aloud to no one in particular. Jetfire hrms a bit at the terrain, giving his foot an idle flick to kick some snow off of it. "This terrain shall make things.. interesting when it comes to traction," he muses. Good thing he turns into a space-jet.. then again, so does Scattershot. That may make it a questional tactic in itself... Oh wait, Rodimus just gave the signal to start didn't he? Jetfire looks up from his tactical musings just in time to see the temple-dog lunging for him, and fires his leg veniers to dart backwards out of the way of Keeper's landing and leave a small trail of snow plumes in his wake. "Almost got me before I was ready there!" Since this is a -friendly compatition- he doesn't want to go off fully loaded, but still appropriate counter-attack must be paid, firing a few short shots from the generic setting every weapon in this theme seems to have because that's all you ever see most people using back at Keeper. Combat: Jetfire strikes Temple Dog with his Low Output Setting (Disruptor) attack! Robot Pteranodon still held some anger issues over the igyak event, still thinking they stupid beasts shoulda been put down. So of crouse this was the prefect chance to work out those issues, though he'd prefer to be attacking the Decepticons rather then his friends, its all in good sport right? The jet-assisted Pteranodon swoops down with a feirce shriek and fires his missiles on the battlefield as he passes overhead. Combat: Robot Pteranodon misses Jetfire with his Missile Area attack! Combat: Robot Pteranodon misses Scattershot with his Missile Area attack! Combat: Robot Pteranodon strikes Sit-Com with his Missile Area attack! Combat: Robot Pteranodon (Swoop) used "Missile": A Level 8 AREA-RANGED attack. Combat: Robot Pteranodon misses Kup with his Missile Area attack! Sitting at the end of the Nepsa slopes is a large battle station. A large BLOCKY battle station to be precise. Various signs are decorated all over the battle station's structure, all of them indicating that this building is meant to be a pit stop for refueling contestants. All around the battle station are Junkion pit-crew workers who scurries in and out of the opened construction bay compartment at the eastern corner of the building. Even Cog, Fortress Maximus' radio controlled drone, can be seen bringing out prepacked barrels of energon for the contestants' consumption. Meanwhile, Fortress Maximus' construction bay continues to work non-stop as one mechanical arm inside places down empty barrels while an attachment with a nozzle pours energons inside before sending the barrel down to the end where it's stamped shut from on the top. At the sound of the call of battle, Sit-Com is prepared. He whips out a telescoping aerial antenna, probably from an old car from a junkyard. He swings it like a sword, imitating the motions of Lion-O. "Thunder! Thunder! Thunder! THUNDERCATS, HOOOOOOOOO!" he shouts, raising the aerial over his head like it was the Sword of Omens. Then someone literally rains on his parade. With missiles. He aims his sonic pistol at the Dinobot, programming it with the sound that the Sword of Omens makes when Lion-0 completes the incantation. Combat: Sit-Com strikes Robot Pteranodon with his ROOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAR! attack! Kup is a bit late to the party free-for-all. He had to pull himself together. Lit'rally. He ducks under Swoop's missile, calling, "Wtahc where you're throwing those things around, kid! Now, eh, no offense, Scattershot, but..." ...and then Kup tries to clock him. Combat: Kup sets his defense level to Neutral. Combat: Kup misses Scattershot with his Punch attack! Temple Dog lands in nothing but snow as Jetfire boosts away and finds himself pelted from one side by pellets that go buddabuddabuddabuddabudda on his cobalt blue armor. And then as he is leaping to get out from under the rain, Jetfire's retalitory fire catches him with a THOOMP of energy pulse exploding off him. He catches his footing. "The good thing about all this snow... there's no real threat for fires getting out of hand." He opens his mouth wide and blows a stream of fire at Scattershot. Combat: Temple Dog misses Scattershot with his Flame Breath attack! [Pulled -3] Scattershot leans to one side and then scoots in that direction on the gigantic boosters in his feet. He can never manage to fly, but it comes in handy when he needs to vacate a spot in a hurry. If, say a Dinobot is bombarding everything in sight. He readies his rifle to return fire, when Kup's voice draws his attention and he quickly holds up an armored forearm to block the punch. "None taken," he assuses Kup. "Really, wouldn't have it any other way." He's hoisting back a hand to trade a few punches when out of the corner of his optic he sees the flames from Keeper approachng. "Oh for crying--" Quickly transforming into his aircraft mode, he blasts into the sky. "Don't want to wait your turn, huh? Well that's okay, there's plenty to go around!" Turrets above and below swivel to lock onto Kup and Keeper while he lines up his nose with Swoop, unleashing torrents of fire on all three. Scattershot transforms into his Battlecruiser mode. Combat: Battlecruiser sets his defense level to Fearless. Combat: Battlecruiser strikes Kup with his You Know The Name Area attack! Combat: Battlecruiser strikes Temple Dog with his You Know The Name Area attack! Combat: Battlecruiser strikes Robot Pteranodon with his You Know The Name Area attack! Jetfire is living up to his reputation of being surprisingly agile for his size, as a missile blows a plume of snow and ice high into the air as he barely manages to leap out of its way. "A Dinobot too. Certainly no shortage of combat data for analysis tonight!" .. Probably don't want to take to the air himself just yet if both Swoop and Scattershot are flying around. So instead he turns up the power to his rifle, and fires off a stronger particle burst at Keeper while he's trying to toast things. Combat: Jetfire strikes Temple Dog with his Particle Beam Rifle attack! [Pulled -3] Robot Pteranodon gets annoyed at the Junkion's attack that barely does any damage. If the Junkion wanted a sword fight, he could do that. He flies and makes his way back around towards Sit-Com when Scattorshot's blast strikes him and sends him spiraling to the ground. HE transforms and shakes himself off. "Me Swoop need be more careful, even if fighting friends." He muses to himself. He Decides that if Scattershot wants to play rough then he'll play with the Technobot. Swoop jumps up as his body folds and converts into his Pteranodon mode. Combat: Swoop strikes Battlecruiser with his Dino-Beating attack! Rodimus Prime winces as the missiles ans scattered shots fly. He shrugs, jumps off the platform, and almost casually strolls over to where Fortress Maximus is set up and leans almost casually against the blocky battle station. "Heya, Max. Any particular reason you decided to skip out this year?" Sit-Com is still smarting from the blast by Swoop. He burrows into the snow, out of sight of the others, so he can tend to his injuries. His wrist-TV starts playing "Hogan's Heroes" and when he's done, he peers out of his snowy foxhole like Bob Crane in black camoflage makeup. Flaming Winnebago transforms into his Robot mode. Combat: Sit-Com quickly patches up some of his minor injuries. Kup gets some shots scattered into his metal hide, and he grunts, but that's about the long and short of it. Hmm, that Junkion is repairing himself, huh? Kup shouts, "Be careful you don't get something in there!" and then whips out his rifle, apparently to put something in that wound - some acid. Combat: Kup sets his defense level to Aggressive. Combat: Kup strikes Sit-Com with his Acid Musket Laser attack! [Pulled -5] Combat: Kup (Kup) used "Acid Musket Laser": A Level 1 RANGED attack. Temple Dog recoils as Scattershot's multi-targetting firey onslaught bathes him in meltdown temperature heat. He dashes through the snow to cool off, but it doesn't work as Jetfire's particle beam makes him even more toasty. His big optics wince and his mouth snarls. "The... irony... is not lost.... on me." He decides Jetfire and Scattershot are currently more than he can handle so he bounds his way through the now mixed-melted snow-slush-water puddles to leap up at Swoop and chomp down on the winged Dinobot like turkey dinner. Cog holds up a barrel lid as he shields himself from a rain of snowy debris from one of the many explosions that's going off around the area. Phew. The remote controlled drone lowers the lid and is about to go back to his business when he sees Rodimus Prime leaning against his main body. He hands over the lid to a passing Junkion pit-crew worker to carry on his work while he heads over to the Autobot leader. The short drone approaches Rodimus Prime, his height barely at the Autobot leader's chest, "Well now, there's no need for me to personally participate in something like this. I figured I could do some more good by lending a helping hand to the rest of these guys while on the sidelines. What about you? I figured for sure that you'd participate." Jayson Redfield is completely absorbed in the fight. And, for the record, he doesn't know who he should be rooting for. So yeah. Battlecruiser takes a beating from Swoop, belatedly increasing power to his engines so that it looks like he tries to evade AFTER getting hit. But really he's just trying to gain some altitude. And who knows, that jetwash might even be big enough to give the Dinobot a singe. Combat: Battlecruiser misses Swoop with his Here's Engine Exhaust in Your Eyes attack! Rodimus Prime shakes his head. "Nah. I don't know..." he shrugs. "Back when I was Hot Rod, I'd have really been into this kind of thing, but now I'd just as soon be on hand to make sure no one gets /seriously/ hurt. Besides, this way I can drag 'em off the battlefield if they go unconscious, or make sure the fight doesn't range too far from where it's supposed to," and, say, into areas where bystanders get hurt. "That sort of thing." He pauses and grins faintly. "Well, okay. I admit that I am a /little/ tempted." Jetfire seems to have a few moments to himself, which means it's the perfect oppritunity to do what he really decided to join in on this endevour for -- Field Testing! Backing away from the fights a bit and closer to the 'pit' area, he looks over his shoulder with a grin. "Hey Rodimus, Maximus! Check this out." He produces a metallic cubic object from subspace and drops it down in the snow, where it extends some anchor legs and then unfolds into a fair-sized cannon that's already powering up. "It's one of the designs to come from reverse engineering that cannon we found. I didn't bring the ballistic version, still working out the munitions load for it." Meanwhile the turret cocks back, takes aim, and a spews a ball of burning, clinging plasmoid energy up at the battlecruiser. Combat: Jetfire strikes Battlecruiser with Plasma Caster's Plasma Caster attack! The sound of splashing alerts Swoop to Keeper's presence as he flies upwards over the leaping dog, which also allows him to miss Scattershot's jetwash. "Bad doggie." He says to Keeper, as pulls out his Thermal sword and dive bombs the odd looking dog, looking like he's about to skewer him. Combat: Swoop misses Temple Dog with his Thermal Sword attack! Rodimus Prime's optics flash brightly as Jetfire pulls out his new weapon. Then he looks rather concerned and glances down at Fortress Maximus. "Is he... using an /experimental/ weapon out /here/?" He snorts. "Well, /this/ should be interesting!" "No no no OW!" Sit-Com protests, rolling around in the snow to try to dilute the acid, "SCHULTZ!!!" He scrambles down farther into the snow, grumbling about how he has to stay down there longer. And do more fixing. Combat: Sit-Com quickly patches up some of his minor injuries. Kup decides to pay Swoop back for that earlier stray missile, taking aim at Swoop with the musket and loading in some laser bullets. He tracks the most graceful of Dinobots and pulls the trgger. Combat: Kup misses Swoop with his Laser attack! Rodimus Prime straightens and his optics bug as he sees /Kup/, of all people, ganging up on one of the Dinobots. "Kup!" he shouts. "Get over here, old man! You know this is supposed to be a clean fight!" Kup has left. Cog turns around in response to Rodimus Prime's comment and spies around the arena for the Air Guardian, seeing the weapon that was mentioned he too comments, "So that's why he was so insistant on getting that cannon back from the crashed ship that was discovered on the Dyson Ring." It's too bad Cog's mouth plate conceals most of his facial expression, otherwise the pained look on his face would be more obvious, "It's a good thing this time his invention didn't backfire on himself." Suddenly, an automated robotic arm from within Fortress Maximus' construction bay lowers down a freshly filled sealed barrel containing energon. Cog pauses his conversation with the Autobot leader to pull the barrel out to the other workers, albeit with some visible difficulty due to the drone's naturally low strength before going back to Rodimus, "And you're right to be cautious, sometimes these events can get out of hand. I remember reading the report of that bystander that somehow ended up in the demolition derby. Temple Dog lands after not 'catching the frisbee' and keeps his optics on Swoop wisely. At Swoops declaration of Keeper's moral rating in this event, "Affirmative." When Swoop comes diving back down with that Grod Mandoon style sword, the Temple Dog calculates the timing and best angle to leap out of harms way in and executes it perfectly for a huge bulky massive monstrousity. He transforms into robot mode, removes a bell from over his shoulder, and underhand tosses it at the junkion. "Eat Pulse Grenade, Sit-Com." Keeper, the brutally fierce looking horned lion-dog, transforms back into his two-legged less terrifying robot mode. Combat: Keeper misses Sit-Com with his Bell Pulse Grenade (Disruptor) attack! Rodimus Prime's optics flicker in surprise as he suddenly loses sight of Kup. He rubs the back of his head and shrugs. "Hnh." He then looks down at Cog and makes a face. "Yeah, I was there for that. The blasted /staff/ threw her in to liven things up!" Battlecruiser 's underside is enveloped in burning plasma. "Well hooray for Science," he drawls, once he emerges from the hellish ball of energy. He's losing altitude fast, still trailing thick black smoke from most of his form. But maybe the two aren't connected - he seems to be in control of his descent and when he gets close enough to the ground he transforms, first into his robot form and then once more... Battlecruiser transforms into his Battlestation mode. Combat: Scattershot takes extra time to aim his next attack. Cog frowns, "Intentionally? That was something that was left out of the reports." The small drone lowers his voice as he continues onto another topic, "I did not have a chance to report this earlier, but I believe we've discovered one of those mysterious lenses that was discovered in the Dyson Sphere here in one of Six Lasers' mazes." He then points a finger at one of the many standing structures within Fortress Maximus' battle station form, "One of the fragments is being kept by me at the moment awaiting for Operations' scientists to take a better look at it to confirm its properties." "I heard that!" Jetfire retorts over his shoulder at the backfiring comment from Cog, but his tone of voice is more in amusement than anything else. Then turns his attention back to watch Scattershot drop to the ground, though he knows enough about flying himself to tell it wasn't a crash. Hmmm. Better keep up the pressure on these people... and the plasma turret needs time to recharge it's power capacitors. So he switchs back to his rifle, and fires off several rapid shots across the battlefield. Combat: Jetfire strikes Battlestation with his Particle Beam Spreadfire Area attack! [Pulled -2] Combat: Jetfire strikes Sit-Com with his Particle Beam Spreadfire Area attack! [Pulled -2] Combat: Jetfire (Jetfire) used "Particle-Beam Phalanx": A Level 4 AREA-RANGED attack. Combat: Jetfire strikes Swoop with his Particle Beam Spreadfire Area attack! [Pulled -2] Rodimus Prime's optics widen and he stands up straight, staring at Cog. "What?! Another lens?! Where'd you find it?" he demands, spinning on Cog. "And what do you mean 'fragments'? You mean you broke it?" ~dingle dingle dingle~ ~dingle...~ * KACHOOM* Sit-Com dives even deeper into the snow as he hears the most terrifying sound known to man or beast...A DINGLE BALL! Thinking that an oversized Odie is getting ready to tackle him, Sit-Com makes himself scarce. It turns out to be an EXPLODING dingle ball, though, and a good portion of snow is blasted away, leaving a crater about six inches from where Sit-Com has self-buried. "Bad doggie, you scared the slag outta me!" he says to Keeper. Then he gets the particle beam right in the chest, which burns through snow to nail him. "*Grumblegrumble* A medic's work is never done." More fixing! Combat: Sit-Com quickly patches up some of his minor injuries. Swoop doesn't even notice Kup's attempt at shooting him, as he's busy pulling his sword from the ground after missing Keeper. He starts to follow Keeper, when he is struck by Jetfire's blast and is knocked back. He shakes his head as he gets back on his feet, and decides to go after his newest target, the large scientist. He lunges forwards and prepares to give Jetfire the Dino-beating of his life. Combat: Swoop misses Jetfire with his Dino-Beating attack! Cog nods grimly, "It was located deep in the recesses of the Swordfish." The small drone makes some mental commands while gazing at his main inert body before another automated arm from the construction bay lowers a datapad into his hands. He flips the display on to reveal a preliminary readout of the lense fragment stored within Fortress Maximus before offering it over to Rodimus Prime, "Yes, there were Decepticons present and I deemed it unlikely they would allow us to take the intact lense into our possession, not without a fight and if the reports are true, that lense just might have been something worth breaking the truce for." Cog then goes into an apologetic bow at Rodimus Prime, "I deemed it necessary to destroy the lense to keep it from falling into the wrong hands. The consequences would be too grave. Of course, I'll take responsibility for the consequences of my actions." Of course, being a technical pacifist, Fortress Maximus isn't all too sad that a potential instrument of war has had its existence cut violently short. Keeper grunts as his wee bell doesn't pack enough punch to remain in range of the diving Junkion. "I really must get around to getting better grenades." He draws his tail pistol and starts running sideways, snapping off blaster pulses at Sit -Com. Combat: Keeper misses Sit-Com with his Blaster Pulse (Pistol) attack! Battlestation 's radar panels unfold and begin angling this way and that. He accepts the shots from Jetfire stoicly...not that he can do much else, being the definition of an 'immobile target'. But definately not a 'defenseless target'. Scattershot's main gun sweeps across the battlefield, bathing the entire region with targeting signals. Targets are quickly sorted out - which ones he wants to light up from which he wants to ignore. The process only takes a few moments. Let's face it, he's had a lot of practice with this kind of thing. Combat: Battlestation strikes Jetfire with his Omni-Targetable Weapons Array Area attack! Combat: Battlestation misses Swoop with his Omni-Targetable Weapons Array Area attack! Combat: Battlestation strikes Sit-Com with his Omni-Targetable Weapons Array Area attack! Combat: Battlestation (Scattershot) used "Turret-Mounted Artillery": A Level 4 AREA-RANGED attack. Combat: Battlestation strikes Keeper with his Omni-Targetable Weapons Array Area attack! Rodimus Prime rubs his forehead as he accepts the fragment. "Fortress Maximus, I... I wish you hadn't done that, those are supposed to be seals of some sort." He shakes his head. "Goldbug said all of them getting destroyed would be... pretty bad." Jetfire would love to be listening to more of the conversation between Rodimus and Maximus/Cog, but he's not about to take his attention off the battle fully, not when there's still several heavy hitters out here. Though to be honest, he's just pleased the plasma turret worked as it was suppose to. Then he finally gets pelted with gunfire, Scattershot's barrage of firepower in several directions just leaving him no-where to really try and dodge it. "Now this is getting more interesting." Taking a step back to regain his footing, and then Jetfire kicks into the air, followed by a blast of energy exhaust vaporizing the snow where he had been standing as he transforms and launchs into the air. The space-fighter loops over and comes back into a dive, firing off a couple of missiles that try to lock onto the heat signatures of all those weapons Scattershot just fired off, pulling up after the firing to try and get back to a proper distance for evasive maneuvers. Jetfire transforms into his Veritech Spacefighter mode. Combat: Veritech Spacefighter sets his defense level to Guarded. Combat: Veritech Spacefighter strikes Battlestation with his Heat-Seeking Missiles attack! Swoop completely misses his target, but is lucky enough that the Scientist's size works as a sheild for him agaisnt Scattershot's attack. He watches as Jetfire takes to the skies after the assualt, and decides to focus his attention back to Keeper. The Dinobot flies at Keeper, his sword drawn once again. "Unguard!" Swoop says getting the word wrong as he slashes at Keeper. Combat: Swoop misses Keeper with his Thermal Sword attack! Sit-Com yelps as he's hit again. "It's DEATH FROM ABOVE!" he cries, and burrows even further into the snow. He curses the amount of damage he's taken, and gets to work patching himself up yet again. Combat: Sit-Com quickly patches up some of his minor injuries. Cog opens his optics in surprise, "These things are seals? For what?" The drone crosses his arms, his optical grooves furrowed, "I was unaware of this." Combat: Battle Station runs a diagnostic check on Sit-Com Rodimus Prime shakes his head. "I wasn't sure, he was kind of vague. There was something... very strange about that Autobot. But most of them, when they go off, have been announcing themslves as some number of twelve or another." Keeper narrows his optics as his aim is lacking... and just as he's about to correct for it, Scattershot once more tags him with his patented multi-targeting skills. The big blue guard spasms as his shoulder joint is damaged. And he sees a red- crested blue and grey giant flying at him. The guard draws out two Pal Knives from his assortment of altmode claws and crosses them violently, blocking Swoop's Thermal Sword between them. He uses his own mighty strength to push himself apart from the Dinobot. He then transforms into Lion Dog mode, and jumps at Swoop, looking to eat him a little again. Keeper, the hardened security mech, transforms down to a four legged monstrosity. Are we sure this is an Autobot? Combat: Temple Dog sets his defense level to Fearless. Combat: Temple Dog strikes Swoop with his Feeding Time attack! Battlestation is blasted off his base by the missile. Unable to right himself, he transforms into robot mode to roll to his feet. He points his rifle at Jetfire, but when he squeezes the trigger nothing happens. "Empty...Frak it! That always happens!" He quickly scans the battlefield, then a smile spread across his face. "But we don't always have something like THAT around!" He transforms and streaks off towards Fortress Maximus for a recharge. Wow there's a queue building up. Battlestation transforms into his Battlecruiser mode. Combat: Battlecruiser sets his defense level to Protected. Combat: Battlecruiser takes extra time to steady himself. [Pass] Cog maintains the frown on his face, "This is rather disturbing. I'll certainly try to recover any other lenses I come across intact then, although I hope you won't blame me for hoping that I never do." Some of the pit-stop crew alerts Cog of incoming contestants requiring fuel, the drone gives Rodimus Prime one last concerned look, "Somethings are left undiscovered." He then heads out, dragging two barrels of energon over to the pit-stop. Soon the pit-stop crew pops open the barrel's lid, attaches a hose into the opening and begins pumping precious energon into Scattershot. Ding ding ding. Incoming expensive fuel bill. Combat: Battle Station refuels Battlecruiser 's energon reserves. Veritech Spacefighter is in the process of circling back around as he sees Scattershot heading towards the pits.. and free for all or not, he doesn't have it in him to shoot an Autobot going in for medical attention. So instead he adjusts his pitch so his course carries him towards where Keeper and Swoop are fighting, coming in for a low pass and opening up with a volley of energy bolts as he cruises by at both of them. Rodimus Prime shakes his head and smiles grimly. "No, I don't blame you, Max." He then tilts his head as the others arrive, and hnhs. "You seem to be getting a line!" he observes. Combat: Veritech Spacefighter misses Swoop with his Strafing Run Area attack! [Pulled -4] Combat: Veritech Spacefighter misses Temple Dog with his Strafing Run Area attack! [Pulled -4] Swoop falls back as he is pushed apart as Keeper guards. "Swoop said unguard, not guard!" He he hits the ground and Keeper shifts to his best mode and takes a bite out of him. Swoop decides to return the favor as he transforms back to his pteranodon mode and tries to take a bit out of Keeper with his wicked golden beak as Jetfire's blasts rain harmlessly around them. Combat: Swoop sets his defense level to Fearless. With a fearsome shriek, Swoops body unfolds and converts into his robot mode. Combat: Robot Pteranodon strikes Temple Dog with his Bite (Punch) attack! "We're WAY low on gas, Cougar!" Sit-Com shouts, and rushes towards Fortress Maximus' pit stop. "Clear the deck, I'm coming in hot!" Combat: Sit-Com takes extra time to steady himself. [Pass] Fortress Maximus' construction bay continues to ship out more barrels of energon as the existing supply is used up. Where does he keep all these reserve supply of energon anyways?! Ba da ding, ba da boom, out pops another barrel of energon which is lowered to the ground by one of the many automated robotic hands in the battle station's construction bay. Cog runs back and begins dragging out the freshly churned out barrel of energon, "I guess it's about that time when these folks should be dinging on fuel." He then pops off the barrel's lid once he has settled it down inthe pit-stop and begins bumping energon into Sit-Com, "Glad you're still in the running, Sit-Com. Hang in there! Energon's on the way." Combat: Battle Station refuels Sit-Com's energon reserves. Combat: Battle Station adds more energon to his reserve tank. Combat: Battle Station adds more energon to his reserve tank. Temple Dog is chewing ans swallowing that little bit of Swoop he managed to take a bite out of, absorbing the matter and converting it to his own energy inside all the while he circles with Swoop. He is revitalized somewhat, and has enough wits about him to sense the incomming missile fire from above. Keeper bounds away from the strike point, losing sight of Swoop. When the dinobot comes at him., Keeper tries to dart under the flyer, but Swoop's path descends on him like a hunting hawk. The wicked beak acts like a pair of scissors and cuts away at the Lion Dog Autobot.... gouging at his shoulder joint circuits. He opens his maw, choosing range over brute physicality for the time being, and breathes fire up at Jetfire. Combat: Temple Dog sets his defense level to Neutral. Combat: Temple Dog misses Veritech Spacefighter with his Flame Breath attack! Battlecruiser takes off again, clearing the way for Sit-Com but rather than powering his way to altitude once more, he skims low and hugs the earth until he judges he's far enough away from Fortress Maximus to set up a firing position again. "Most fun I've had in weeks!" he crows. Battlecruiser transforms into his Battlestation mode. Combat: Scattershot takes extra time to aim his next attack. "Now this fight is heating up!" Jetfire yelps as he tilts up and away from the flames shooting through the air. They manage to singe and melt off some of his crematic heatshielding, but that just means its doing its job of keeping him from getting scorched instead. As he comes towards the ground he drops out his legs, for a SPLITSECONDBLINKYOUMISSITFRAME looking like a certain other craft's middle-mode before he hits the ground and transforms fully into robot mode. Smoke and melted mist from the hot landing hiss around his feet, but he ignores it as he turns, and aims one of his launchers to fire a proton missile at the Dinobot. "You've got something on you there, Keeper. Allow me to swat it for you." *FWOOSH* Combat: Veritech Spacefighter sets his defense level to Neutral. Veritech Spacefighter transforms into his Jetfire mode. Combat: Jetfire misses Robot Pteranodon with his Proton Missiles attack! Robot Pteranodon caws victoriously as he gouges Keeper's shoulder joint. Maybe that will teach him about biting others! He looks over and sees Scattorshot transform to his immoble form, and figures theirs no better time to attack him then when he can't move. Luckily for him, He darts at Scattershot right as Jetfire fires on him cuasing the scientist to miss completely. Swoop transforms to his robot mode to give Scattorshot a better pounding. Swoop jumps up as his body folds and converts into his Pteranodon mode. Combat: Swoop strikes Battlestation with his Dino-Beating attack! Sit-Com is gassed up and ready to go! Then he checks his damage levels and groans. Still not up to snuff. He sighs as he jury-rigs himself yet again. "Who do they think I am, the Fugitive?" Combat: Sit-Com quickly patches up some of his minor injuries. Temple Dog backs up as attentions divert from himself for a moment. The big blue puppygets an idea that may or may not be good. But it certainly is a ~cool~ one. He bounds up a snowy slope and starts jumping around and roaring, causing the snow to tremble and shift... what once was still now becomes unstable... An avalanche is triggered. Cool indeed. Combat: Temple Dog sets his defense level to Aggressive. Combat: Temple Dog misses Jetfire with his Ruckus Area attack! Combat: Temple Dog strikes Battlestation with his Ruckus Area attack! Combat: Temple Dog strikes Swoop with his Ruckus Area attack! Combat: Temple Dog misses Sit-Com with his Ruckus Area attack! Combat: Temple Dog (Keeper) used "Ruckus": A Level 2 AREA-MELEE attack. Combat: Temple Dog misses Battle Station with his Ruckus Area attack! Combat: Temple Dog misses Rodimus Prime with his Ruckus Area attack! Rodimus Prime's optics widen as Keeper triggers an avalanche. "Max! Look out!" he shouts, leaping /over/ the onrushing wave of snow. Once atop it, he actually works to stay balanced on it, 'surfing' it in a way that one can only do in a cartoon, until the thing finally peters out at the bottom. Battlestation 's main cannon begins whining as it builds up power. Motes of energy appear around the muzzle an then are slowly drawn in to add to the glow from deep inside. A Dinobot slams into him, he wobbles and continues gathering power. An avalanche washes over him, but is quickly burned off (along with a circle around him) by the energy he's building up. Just when it seems the sound can't get any higher-pitched, that he can't collect any more energy without exploding!!!...he unleashes a huge barrage of electron pulses. Rather than focus on any one particular target he instead sweeps the beam across the battlefield, turning the sky white with near-constant strobing energy and possibly affecting every Autobot in the area. Combat: Battlestation sets his defense level to Fearless. Combat: Battlestation strikes Jetfire with his No Don't Look Into The Light!! Area attack! Combat: That attack has temporarily affected Jetfire's Accuracy. (Blinded) Combat: Battlestation misses Swoop with his No Don't Look Into The Light!! Area attack! Combat: Battlestation strikes Sit-Com with his No Don't Look Into The Light!! Area attack! Combat: Battlestation (Scattershot) used "Side-Mounted Thermal Shell": A Level 2 AREA-RANGED attack. Combat: Battlestation misses Temple Dog with his No Don't Look Into The Light!! Area attack! Jetfire has really bad personal experience with snow falling. It tends to bury things, even of his size. And leave them frozen there for a long time. Needless to say, the Air Guardian beats it hastily in the other direction, using his dashing jets to their maximum potential to speed to the far side of the combat area. Far enough that the fringe edge of the avalanche peeters out across his feet. "Scrap, the turret got buried in there somewhere," he grumbles. Shrugs it off, and starts to jog back into the fight. He's starting to work his way towards the now partially snowed in pit area, but still has the energy to crack off a few more shots at various combatants along the way. Unfortunately, that also runs him right back into the blinding lights of Scattershot's barrage. "Gah!" He fumbles a bit, tries not to trip in the snow and keep his heading, but what had started as a calculated covering of his movement turns into just some erracting shooting because of optical disorientation. Combat: Jetfire strikes Temple Dog with his Cover-Turned-Erratic-Fire Area attack! [Pulled -4] Combat: Jetfire misses Swoop with his Cover-Turned-Erratic-Fire Area attack! [Pulled -4] Combat: Jetfire strikes Battlestation with his Cover-Turned-Erratic-Fire Area attack! [Pulled -4] Swoop is knocked over and burried under a mound of snow after he attackes Scattershot, he struggles to pull himself out; when it all turns to water thanks to Scattershot's attack as it passes over him. Swoop slowly gets up and decides to take a moment to figure out his next move. And is lucky not to get hit by Jetfire's blast. "Why is everyone picking on me swoop? Me no do anything..." Combat: Swoop takes extra time to steady himself. [Pass] Natural Disaster. Mount Saint Bernard blows. You were luckily out of the snow path. Your snow-free carcass jumps in price! Sit-Com unluckily gets nailed by a blinding flash that damages his optics temporarily. "Now now, I can do this, I can do this," the Junkion tells himself, steeling his own circuits for the combat with more repairs. He tunes his wrist TV to The Jeffersons. ~Movin' on up, movin' on up, to the East Side~ Combat: Sit-Com quickly patches up some of his minor injuries. Temple Dog can't see no light from Scattershot as so much snow powder is still swirling from being kicked up in the avalanche. Yay for forces of nature! Unfortunately, is also keeps him from seeing Jetfire's wild firing sending a stray shot his way until it's too late. Cartoonishly enough, it goes straight down his open mouth and scores a few fuel pump l ines... He feels his gross motor functions go just a bit sluggish as he coughs and sputters from that spicey meatball. Keeper just tries to walk it off for a moment. Combat: Temple Dog sets his defense level to Guarded. Combat: Temple Dog takes extra time to steady himself. [Pass] Rodimus Prime finally finishes surfing out snow and goes climbing back up to the battlefield. "Can we at least /try/ to keep this thing cont-" and hen he spies Jetfire being a very bad scientist. "JETFIRE! Sidelines, now! Come on, people, lay off Swoop a little!" While Rodimus ICly had no concept of 'round', he does see, 'One person getting an undue amount of fire, which might lead to them getting hurt in some not-easily repairable way.' Jetfire was trying to just get to Maximus for a refill, while trying to rub some of the spots out of his optics from the flashes. He trudges up just in time to hear Rodimus' shout, glancing one way, then the other.. and realizing his blunder, emits a grunt as he rubs the back of his head in embarassament. "Well, darn. Guess the light got me worse than expected, I thought that was someone else." In the end he shrugs his large shoulders a bit, and holds a hand up to his mouth to shout back at the fighters. "Sorry Swoop, my bad!" He then trudges the rest of the way up to Fortress Maximus. The potential of other things important has already more or less put the fumble behind him. "Now what were you saying earlier about finding more of those lenses?" Rodimus Prime had taken the lense fragment from Fort Max earlier, but he hands it over to Jetfire as the other approaches the 'sidelines.' The avalanche that Keeper had causes sweeps through the area, scooping up some of the contestants in the process, as it continues down the slope where the pit-stop and Fortress Maximus is inconveniently located. IS THIS IT? IS THIS THE END? Surely nothing will stop mother nature's fury from sweeping the battle station off the slope and down to the valley below! Fortunately Fortress Maximus is one of the quickest thinking Autobots there is and within seconds the defensive batteries on the battle station swirvels around towards the nearby trees before unleashing a controlled volley of fire at the treelines. The trees collapses, bringing down heavy rocks along with it to the ground just in time to slow down the avalanche just enough that it keeps it from pushing the battle station off the slopes. Cog wipes off some snow off the top of his helmed head before walking over to the two much larger Autobots, "Unfortunately the Decepticons present were able to retrieve some of the fragments as well. Can you confirm if this -is- the same type of lenses that were reported several months ago?" Battlestation gets burned by yet another shot from Jetfire's potent weaponry. He might have to have a little chat with the scientist after this. Professional interest. But for now, he's got to get back into a more agile mode until he can catch his second wind. Scattershot's idea of catching his second wind is a little different than most other people's. Battlestation transforms into his Battlecruiser mode. Combat: Battlecruiser misses Temple Dog with his This Always Makes Me Feel Better Area attack! [Pulled -1] Combat: Battlecruiser strikes Swoop with his This Always Makes Me Feel Better Area attack! [Pulled -1] Combat: Battlecruiser strikes Sit-Com with his This Always Makes Me Feel Better Area attack! [Pulled -1] Jetfire accepts the fragment handed to him by Rodimus with one hand, while pulling off his combat helmet with the other. Y'know, the one with the vulcans on the sides that gives him the weird mecha looking head instead of his normal robot one. Then holds the fragment up to get a bit of better light to examine it, turning it one way and the other a few times slowly. "Not really a suitable location for a in-depth examination, but from general inspection and comparison to extrapulation data from the previous encounters with such... I'm pretty darn sure it is." Even Jetfire knows when to drop from the fancy science talk when it's serious.... Well, sometimes. Swoop is struck by Scattershot for a small ammount of Damage. He flies up towards his attacker and transforms, pulling out his Thermal Sword, hoping to clip the space ships 'wings' to bring the technobot leader down to earth. Combat: Swoop misses Battlecruiser with his Thermal Sword attack! Just when he thought he was starting to get ahead, Sit-Com gets hit again. He digs deep into the snow, hoping to avoid detection and be out of sight, out of mind. "Now where's me spinach?" he says, as he tries to get ahead of the damage with more repairs. Combat: Sit-Com quickly patches up some of his minor injuries. Temple Dog sees it coming this time now that the snow dust has subsided, and although he's been physically handicapped somewhat, manages to scamper out of harms way letting Scattershots fire hit nothing but mountain side. He charges back down straight for the technobot commander and pounces at the Battlecruiser, jaws flashing wide open for a meal. "You're dangerous, but I'm used to subduing the dangerous!" Combat: Temple Dog sets his defense level to Fearless. Combat: Temple Dog misses Battlecruiser with his Feeding Time attack! Battle Station transforms into his Fortress Maximus mode. Cog winces a bit as he sees Sit-COm get fall victim to yet another barrage of weapons fire by Scattershot. Perhaps it's Galen's own tendency to root for the underdog, but whatever reason it might be, Cog approaches the Junkion just close enough to shout out in an audible volume, "Never back down, Sit-Com, never surrender! As the only Junkion representative in this contest, you've got to give it your all and I know you well enough to know that you still got plenty more fight left in you!" Combat: Fortress Maximus inspires Sit-Com with moving and noble words! Fortress Maximus transforms into his Battle Station mode. Battlecruiser swerves first in one direction, then the other to avoid the Autobots leaping into the air to take a swing at him. "Gettin' a little crowded up here!" he announces, although his tone is still amiable, then he spins around and streaks back at Swoop. "Makes it kind of hard to fly without hittin' something!" Combat: Battlecruiser strikes Swoop with his Ram attack! [Pulled -2] Swoop figures that maybe its time to try to get rid of the weakest link, since he's been spending most of his time repairing himself its obvious to even Swoop that the Junkion doesn't belong in the battle against such heavy hitters. "Me am sorry for this in advance, but is for best!" he says, but before he can make his way to the Junkion, he is rammed by Scattorshot and lands face down in the snow. He gets up and shakes himself off, for a moment thinking of going after Scattershot again, but decides to continue after the Junkion target, since they are both on the ground. He takes out his thermal sword and stabs it into the ground attempting to skewer the Junkion, while melting away his snowy defenses. Combat: Swoop strikes Sit-Com with his Thermal Sword attack! Jetfire takes a few steps out of the way as Cog scurries off to help others, most of his attention on the shard otherwise as he looks it over a few more times, then turns his attention back to Maximus and Rodimus. "Do you have any idea what the lens was being used for where you found it, or was it just... there?" he inquires, curiosity perked. Rodimus Prime shrugs at Jetfire, since he wasn't there for it, then looks down up at Fortress Maximus to hear what he has to say. He's pretty curious himself. Sit-Com is indeed the weakest link. But he's still not giving up! He gets smacked by one of Swoop's attacks, and realizes, though he's not scared anymore, that he absolutely has to patch himself once again. Sit-Com. Junkion punching bag. He can draw the shots so that others may prevail! Combat: Sit-Com quickly patches up some of his minor injuries. Temple Dog growls as his snack eludes him. He transforms to robot mode and looks for the fight. Seeing the Dinobot hunt the wee junkion, Keeper feels a tug of protectiveness, weird since it's just an olympic game, but he charges at the Dinobot nonetheless. One of his two damaged shoulders juts forward slightly as he spreads his arms and he makes to tackle Swoop. Keeper, the brutally fierce looking horned lion-dog, transforms back into his two-legged less terrifying robot mode. Combat: Keeper strikes Swoop with his Tackle (Smash) attack! Cog returns to the two larger Autobots, a bit embarassed at his sudden motivational outburst earlier, "Ahem, right. Sorry about that, I get carried away from time to time too." He rubs the back of his head a bit before detailing his experiences, "The lense was producing some sort of sensory distortion. To say the effects were strong is putting it lightly. When we found it, it was being powered by an intricate machine that was feeding some sort of an energy beam into the lense." The small drone shrugs a bit, "Unfortunately I don't carry the type of equipment needed to analyze the data. The machine -is- still intact though, I believe I can send a guide to take you there if you'd like to investigate it further." Battlecruiser banks around ponderously, then lines his hulking form up with trio of combatants. Clustered all together like that, he's able to unleash a stream of electron pulses from his nose cone that washes over all three. "You guys're making this WAY too easy!" Combat: Battlecruiser strikes Keeper with his Electron Pulse Blitz Area attack! [Pulled -1] Combat: Battlecruiser strikes Swoop with his Electron Pulse Blitz Area attack! [Pulled -1] Combat: Battlecruiser strikes Sit-Com with his Electron Pulse Blitz Area attack! [Pulled -1] Combat: Battlecruiser (Scattershot) used "Wing-Mounted Sonic Shell": A Level 1 AREA-RANGED attack. Swoop gahs as he is suddenly tackled by the large dogmech, and hits the snow hard. He shoves Keeper off of hin, only to be blasted by Scattershot. He his optics flash bright in anger as he lashes out at the first mech he sees, which is unfortunatly the Junkion yet again. Combat: Swoop strikes Sit-Com with his Thermal Sword attack! Keeper buckles to one knee as Scattershot shoots fish in a barrel and pops the guard one easily while he is focussed on Swoop. Weakened, he cannot afford to take his eyes off the mohawk wearing flyer now. It's always the Combiner leaders who are among the most dangerous to fight isn't it? It must be because they learn to fight by squabbling with their little brothers. Ah, but the Dinobot brushes him off to hunt the Junkion still. Keeper shakes his head and gets up. This time he dashes at Swoop with all his leg might and puts his head down in his mad charge. Combat: Keeper misses Swoop with his Running Battering Ram (Ram) attack! Sit-Com ows as he's hit twice! "I've had my recommended daily allowance of pain," he complains. Once more he turns to fixing himself. "Now is the winter of our discount tent," he says. Combat: Sit-Com quickly patches up some of his minor injuries. Combat: Battle Station deploys his reserve energon tank. Battlecruiser comes around for another pass...only this time, instead of a strafing run he drops down until he's skimming the nepsa again, then transforms, first sprinting and then slowing to a job before ending in a march. "Shootin' at you all from up in the air was fun and all, but...you know a rumble ain't a rumble without me!" With that he hauls back and tries to punch Sit-Com in the head. Battlecruiser transforms into his Scattershot mode. Combat: Scattershot strikes Sit-Com with his Smackdown attack! Combat: Sit-Com falls to the ground, unconscious. Jetfire hmmms thoughtfully. "Sensory illusions." He turns his attention to Rodimus for a moment. "Weren't the Torqulons using some shards for a similar distortion in one of their reabilitation methods when you were there with... someone. The name escapes me for the moment. The scientist's attention shifts back to the shard itself. "The more we find of these things, it only unravels into a much bigger mystery..." Swoop quickly dodges Keeper's second lunge and then notices that he's hurting for energon, so Swoop decides he needs a pit stop, and flies over to Fort Max for a refill, while Keeper and Scattershot pound on each other for a bit. Combat: Swoop sets his defense level to Protected. Combat: Swoop takes extra time to steady himself. [Pass] Rodimus Prime's optics flicker as one of the combatants falls unconscious. "Wow! We've had someone fall out of combat... and /not/ because they've managed to disqualify themselves!" Then he rubs the back of his head. "Though it being the Junkion makes it trickier. It takes a lot more effort to pull all their pieces off a battlefield!" Rodimus Prime looks at Jetfire as he realizes what the scientist had said, and nods. "You're right about what they were doing with the lenses on Torqulon, though. That was very... different." Keeper clenches his fist as Scattershot takes out Sit-Com while Swoop was already also hounding the little engine that could. He transforms back to Lion Dog mode and opens up a can of whup-aft. His blade claws flash and his jaws gnash. He goes animal on the remaining pair of fighters. Keeper, the hardened security mech, transforms down to a four legged monstrosity. Are we sure this is an Autobot? Combat: Temple Dog strikes Swoop with his Wild Dog Rampage (Ruckus) Area attack! Combat: Temple Dog strikes Scattershot with his Wild Dog Rampage (Ruckus) Area attack! Jetfire takes a few steps out of the way as Swoop comes over for a recharge, and hands the crystal shard back to Rodimus. "As I recheck the data file of the report, it could quite possibly be a difference of their... device being hooked up to living minds, while this was being used in an automated process. We saw what those lenses made of this stuff did when attached to our own troops, after all." He then reachs over to pat the side of Fort Max's bunkers with one hand. "Although breaking the lense in itself may of been a hazard, I believe you did the right thing in doing so instead of allowing the Decepticons to possibly retrieve one intact. We've had enough trouble out of them with bizarre alien artifacts as it is." Sit-Com keels over as he's pummelled some more. His battered form a sacrifice on the battlefield. As he loses consciousness he hears his TV play "Y'all come back now, ya hear?" "Ah, be right back, Jetfire, Max," Rodimus says before picking his way through the battlefield. He gathers the pieces of Sit-Com that he can find and drags the Junkion off to the sidelines. Scattershot gets bowled over by attack. He might not have the mass and innate weaponry the two creature-form Autobots do, but he's had a LOT of experience fighting such. And one thing every Technobot learned early on against their arch- rivals is, artillery can be just as good as a fang or a claw. The cannons on his shoulders swivel down and then suddenly point in opposite directions - one forward in Keeper's direction, and the other one backwards towards Swoop. He shoots one brief glance over his shoulder to verify the Dino's position before unleashing streams of shells from each weapon. Scattershot transforms into his Battlestation mode. Combat: Battlestation misses Swoop with his Turret-Mounted Artillery Area attack! [Pulled -3] Combat: Battlestation misses Temple Dog with his Turret-Mounted Artillery Area attack! [Pulled -3] Swoop acks as he is attacked twice while refueling... Though Scattorshot's blast misses. "Not Cool! Me trying to refuel here! We have rules for that, right?" He asks looking to Rodimus, surely its not right to fire on someone while at Fort Max? He shakes his head even Fort Max seems to have gone unresponsive. He give Fort Max a frustrated kick. "Wake up already!" He says annoyedly, and decides to just go back into the fray for now. He has enough energon to fuel his Thermal sword for another attack and attempts to slash Scattershot. Combat: Swoop misses Battlestation with his Thermal Sword attack! Combat: Battle Station refuels Swoop's energon reserves. Temple Dog simmers having gotten a piece of both Autobots. That took a bit of a toll on his power in the process. He transforms, backs away from the two, removes a hanging bell from over his mangled shoulder, and rolls it along the trampled and soggy ground towards the Battlestation Scattershot. Keeper, the brutally fierce looking horned lion-dog, transforms back into his two-legged less terrifying robot mode. Combat: Keeper sets his defense level to Neutral. Combat: Keeper misses Battlestation with his Bell Pulse Grenade (Disruptor) attack! Cog runs out from the insides of the Fotress Maximus' construction bay with a barrel of energon, its lids not even sealed yet, "Production fell behind, Swoop! Kicking my sides won't make things work any faster." The small Autobot manages to pull the barrel over to the Dinobot bombardier and brings out the hose once more, "Sorry for the wait, here's an extra helping. I know how Dinobots can go through energon quickly." "Fair?" Scattershot repeats, tone full of disbelief. "Oh, you mean like Jetfire did? Well...he's a special kind of 'Bot. Me, I'm more the kind who just likes to shoot. Allow me demonstrate." Combat: Battlestation misses Swoop with his Omni-Targetable Weapons Array Area attack! [Pulled -3] Combat: Battlestation strikes Keeper with his Omni-Targetable Weapons Array Area attack! [Pulled -3] Swoop nods to Cog as he refuels him finally. "Makes Swoop feel better though." He replies to the comment about kicking Fort Max. The Dinobot is rather heavily damaged, but being in the top three means he'll get a medal anyway; so decides to go all out as he tries to reduce the number of guns Scattorshot has to fire at him with his Thermal Sword. Combat: Swoop sets his defense level to Fearless. Combat: Swoop strikes Battlestation with his Thermal Sword attack! Keeper puts a hand over his shoulder, putting pressure to brace his arm briefly before Scattershot opens up again. He dives, but is too slow to get going in time. Sparks and fire flare off the blast point and hee hits the deck hard. Scrambling back up instinctively, Keeper has his blaster drawn but has little energon left to go on still. He makes a hobbling jog towards Fortress Maximus. "I need power replenishment..." Combat: Keeper sets his defense level to Protected. Combat: Keeper takes extra time to steady himself. [Pass] Combat: Battle Station refuels Keeper's energon reserves. Battlestation takes a solid hit from Swoop, all of the turrets on that side getting chopped off. Finally realizing that he needs speed again, the Technobot transforms and lifts into the air, remaining artillery turret swivelling to lob a few shells backwards as he tries to get away from Swoop. Battlestation transforms into his Battlecruiser mode. Combat: Battlecruiser misses Swoop with his Turret-Mounted Artillery attack! [Pulled -2] Cog looks up, and up as Keeper arrives in front of the pit-stop. He nods in acknowledgement in response to the Autobot's request, turning around and mentally commanding the construction bay to produce yet another barrel of energon from within. A short moment later, the automated robotic arms within the construction bay sets down a fresh barrel of energon for consumption. The small drone pulls off the lid to the barrel and hands a hose over to Keeper, "Knock yourself out, friend. There's more where that came from." "Don't run! Me Swoop no finished with you yet!" Swoop Says as he takes the skies, avoiding the turrent's blasts as he attempts to 'even up' Scattershot's sides by removing the artillery on that side as well. Combat: Swoop strikes Battlecruiser with his Thermal Sword attack! Windshear has decided that he wants to learn how to... sky. hes seen bits and peices of it on earth and is mildly curious about it. So of course this place -- where the Olympics are seems to have it all, including a skyslope. Windshear was surprised to find there were Transformer sized skies there and forking out some credits (hey hes a con that does pay for stuff ok? It can happen) he gets his skies and then looks at the three slopes to chose from. The Beginner looks boring, the tourist looks too safe .. the suicidal looks like fun. And really how hard can this be? Taking the lift up to the Vertical slope he gets ready to jump off the lift and ride the slope. At first everythings going ok and wow is it fast. Windshear leans forward a bit, having read up on the data files on proper skying form and such hes sure he knows what hes doing. Everything goes well till about half way down the slope. Was it a fox? a rabbit? Windy will never know as he he suddenly tumbles over and starts plummeting down the slope.. toward the Autobots free for all. Soon its a huge snowball with seeker wings, giant skies and an afterburner jutting out as it heads straight for the Autobots. Keeper chug-a-lugs like a champ and gets a very good fill before nodding appretiation and hobble-running back into the fray. He transforms part way there and moves to go on all fours his alternate mode gives him. A roar announcing himself. He opens his jaws and a plume of smoke unfurls... Fire erupts from within and he tries to burn down his remaining opponents... he doesn't notice the rolling Decepti-doom approaching yet... Keeper, the hardened security mech, transforms down to a four legged monstrosity. Are we sure this is an Autobot? Combat: Temple Dog sets his defense level to Aggressive. Combat: Temple Dog misses Swoop with his Flame Thrower Coverage (Full-Auto) Area attack! Combat: Temple Dog misses Battlecruiser with his Flame Thrower Coverage (Full-Auto) Area attack! Battlecruiser feels the other turret go before his massive acceleration lets him pull away from Swoop. But before he gets very far ahead, maneuvering jets usually used for space fir and flip him 180 degrees, to face the Dinobot once again. His engines howl as he barrels in on Swoop, trying to build up as much momentum as he can in the limited space... Combat: Battlecruiser strikes Swoop with his Ram attack! [Pulled -2] Sit-Com gets covered in snow. Fortunately he's gone sleepy-bye so he doesn't notice the thick blanket of white covering him. Battle Station transforms into his Fortress Maximus mode. Combat: Fortress Maximus inspires Swoop with righteous and wise words! Fortress Maximus transforms into his Battle Station mode. Swoop acks as he is knocked out of the sky by the close range ram attack, and luckily lands in a pile of snow thats not been melted by all the flaming attacks. He slowly gets to his feet, and then takes to the skies once more; he seems to be locked on Scattershot just like he had been locked on the Junkion earlier. "Techybot too much trouble allow remaining in fight!" He says and tries to ground Scattershot once by once more attacking his wings. Combat: Swoop strikes Battlecruiser with his Thermal Sword attack! Combat: Battlecruiser falls to the ground, unconscious. "Eh? What?" So focused on thinking about the shard and implications of such, Jetfire didn't even realize the battle was over. "... Oh. It would seem the event is over. Good job, guys." Temple Dog burns nothing but oxygen in this cold ski slope valley, the dueling Autobots before him moving like boulder-dancers, Smooth and heavy. And that flaming sword of fire or at least super heated finally brings a definative blow to the multi-targetting saavy Scattershot. Now KEeper is alone with the dangerous Dinobot. IS that a good thing? Well, it's just the games. A little more pain won't hurt, will it? He tilts his maned head lower just a little gathering himself and then he calls, "Swoop. Now it's you and I." He gives Swoop the time to refocus his attention on him now with that, and then trots forward. His trot changes gears into a gallop. When he draws near, Keeper leaps and raises his heavy paw full of claws, slashing at Swoop. Combat: Temple Dog strikes Swoop with his Paw Swipe Swoop (Punch) attack! Battlecruiser gets a wing sliced off near the base. Even he can't remain in the air with that kind of damage, and he spins to ground to land in a cloud of steam from the snow instantly melting around him. Jetfire then realizes it was only one combatant knocked out, and hurries to help Rodimus pull the big cruiser of a Technobot out of the line of fire. Swoop says, "Dino and Beastie, as should be." Swoop responds right before the large liondog tackles him out of the sky. Swoop breathes heavily from his internal fans working overtime to keep his large frame cool from all the heavy damage he taken. He looks to the Beast hanging of him and tries to slash at him with his Thermal swords, its been doing wonders for him so far!" Combat: Swoop strikes Temple Dog with his Thermal Sword attack! Temple Dog groans as he feels the bite of the blade sever more motor connections. His joints quiver as his energon flow adjusts to the increasing damages. He hits the ground and trots in a circle working out the misalignments to rebalance himself. Keeper then gives Swoop his big dog-cat optic look of hunger, and lunges up to chomp into Swoop once more. Has he acquired a taste? Combat: Temple Dog misses Swoop with his Feeding Time attack! Swoop watches Keeper as he pads around, with only one enemy it was easy to focus and plan, the things Swoop was actually pretty good at, for a Dinobot at least. Hde ducks under Keeper as he lunges at him, and attempts to grab. "Not this time doggie. Me had enough of being eaten!" Combat: Swoop strikes Temple Dog with his Grab attack! Temple Dog is caught in the grappling clutches of the mohawkasaur and his momentum is halted. Oh but you should never grab a tiger by it's tail. As long as he has even one limb free he'll fight tooth and claw won't he? Keeper contorts and drives a hind leg kicking at Swoop. "I don't blame you!" Combat: Temple Dog misses Swoop with his Hind Kick (Kick) attack! For a large Dinobot, Swoop was actually pretty agile as he twists his waist to avoid to kick while keeping the squeeze on Keeper for a moment longer, before throwing him towards one of the rocks that Fort Max knocked down earlier to prevent the avalanche from getting him. Combat: Swoop strikes Temple Dog with his Throw'd (Punch) attack! Temple Dog 's back wraps around the rock protruberence as he crashes into it. A labored roar escapes him and he flops to the ground. Oh but there is still life in him yet. He pushes himself. Wills himself to lock optics on the Dinobot. Keeper transforms to robot mode, draws his blaster, and starts snapping shots off from the thrown distance. Keeper, the brutally fierce looking horned lion-dog, transforms back into his two-legged less terrifying robot mode. Combat: Keeper sets his defense level to Neutral. Combat: Keeper misses Swoop with his Blaster Pulse (Pistol) attack! Swoop quickly dodges the blasts while firing a return volley of his own, keeping the beast at a distance for the time being, as he continues to try and figure out a good way to beat him. Combat: Swoop strikes Keeper with his Pistol attack! Combat: Keeper falls to the ground, unconscious. Well, shooting him is a good way. Keeper just doesn't have the spring in his step needed to get out of harms way. Swoop hits his mark and Keeper deactivates before he even hits the ground. Swoop blinks as Keeper falls over from a few simple laser blasts... "Me not expect that. But me win anyway!" He announces happily.
