The Emperor's library was a large library located in the Imperial Palace on Coruscant. It belonged to Emperor Palpatine and only his top people were allowed to use it—among these people were his Sith apprentice Darth Vader and Emperor's Hand Mara Jade. Attendants helped those who were permitted to use the library and the data retrieval stations were equipped with sophisticated search programs. There were large data card filing cabinets in the library as well as three computer stations through which the user could access records that were used to track Imperial citizens.
