A Ribbon Blade grants a +4 bonus to Sleight of Hand check made to conceal the blade, and +4 bonus to check to resist being disarmed, since the ribbon blade is tied to its wielder. You can use the Weapon Finesse feat to apply your Dexterity modifier instead of your Strength modifier to attack rolls with a ribbon blade sized for you, even though it isn’t a light weapon for you.
