Riegenn Hetuu was a male hunter who was active over a century before the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. Around 3743 BBY, Hetuu was hired by a Hutt to acquire a live k'lor'slug queen for the Hutt's annual gladiatorial tournament on the planet Nal Hutta. Hetuu was successful in acquiring the queen, but failed to take into account the creature's ability to reproduce—when he opened the cargo bay of his starship, around four hundred k'lor'slugs poured out and ate both Hetuu and his Hutt client. The incident inspired the term "a Hutt's cry," which referred to the sound made by a batch of k'lor'slugs, and Hetuu was still viewed as a notorious hunter a century after his death.
