The Brinok class were a type of Cardassian patrol cruisers starships employed by the Cardassian Union's Central Command to keep watch of their borders. These were long-range ships that also possessed cloaking devices, armed with both plasma and phaser weaponry to deter intruders from entering Cardassian territory. These ships could also be modified to carry remote piloted drones that would launch from the ship and attack enemy vessels. This allowed the Brinok to harass enemy ships which would struggle to escape the cloud of drones surrounding them. (TNG video game: Armada II)
