Sir Herbert Lidiard (September 1864 - 14 July 1941) was a politician in the Paddington area. The son of John Lidiard, a justice of the peace from Clapham Common, he entered local politics in 1900 when he became the first Mayor of Wandsworth. He was subsequently a member of Paddington Borough Council, and was Mayor of Paddington on three occasions. In 1913 he was elected to London County Council as a Municipal Reform Party councillor representing Paddington (North) until 1922. He was knighted in the 1923 Birthday Honours for "public and political services in Paddington".
