The California Disunification was, presumably, a separation of disagreeing groups in California, which resulted in the formation of two new wizarding territories, one of which is almost certainly Alta California. During the Disunification, the Japanese-American cultural group of the Majokai nearly went to war with the Chinese-American cultural group. Little else is currently known about the Disunification, except that knowledge of it is tested in the Wizarding History section of the placement S.P.A.W.N. exam.
