- A Burner is an assault-rifle like weapon used by the Yautja.
- Burner, a member of the Third Degree Burners, handles the squadron’s heavy ballistics.
- Burners are monsters/traps in Dr. Lunatic with Expando-Pak and Dr. Lunatic Supreme With Cheese. They fire flames first to the right, then downwards, then to the left, and then upwards, repeating the cycle afterwards. Before the release of the Fun Pack, these were the only hittable monsters in Dr. Lunatic that are completely invincible.
- Burners (also known as Rocket Engines and Thrusters), are obstacles found in the Mario series that made their debut in Super Mario Bros. 3 for the Famicom and Nintendo Entertainment System. They are designed similarly to Bill Blasters, but shoot out flames instead of Bullet Bills. The flames blow for a few seconds and then subside, which is the time Mario or Luigi must use to navigate through or around them. Burners can also be attached to walls or ceilings in addition to floors, so their flames can blow in any direction. They are mostly found on Airship and Tank levels.
- The Burner is a powerful AMNC that Aya Brea encounters in Dryfield. This massive ANMC has a flamethrower mounted inside of its head, the nozzle of which extends out its mouth. It's extremely resilient to damage, having apparently bypassed several of Douglas' traps simply by stepping on them. Aya confronts this creature during nighttime on the balcony of the motel.
- Burner(バーナーbānā) is a weapon that appears in Resident Evil 7: Biohazard.
- His movement and attacks are very similar to the chainsaw-wielding Samson, moving menacingly towards his opponents with his blowtorch. Though with the same resilience, Burner is somewhat easier to deal with compared to Samson, as he lumbers relatively slowly instead of charging head on.
- Burner is a fairly common type of anomaly featured in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat.
- Burner, known as Tomole (トモール Tomōru?) in Japan, is an enemy Mechaniloid from Mega Man ZX Advent that has the DNA data of a Pseudoroid and is well adapted to digging holes in rocks. It drops down from ceilings, plants itself firmly on the ground, and releases flames from the top. A few times they appear from the ground and move to the ceiling. They appear in the Mysterious Lab, the Bio Lab and the Control Center.
- Against orders, he led Chris Martin and Tennyo into the Whateley sewer system to replace a burnt-out sensor unit. This resulted in an explosion which endangered Stan and Morrie. He proceeded to lie concerning the whereabouts of Tennyo and the circumstances surrounding the explosion. He was not held responsible for the consequences of his actions, instead Tennyo was fired.
- "Call For Backup Opponent's property too well protected? Call For Backup using a Burner to get a second strike at success. Call For Backup will provide a boost of attack from a Top Mafia member to help you defeat your opponent and rob their properties. Increasing your Robbing Mastery level will up the maximum number of Burners you can possess." It is a consumable and can be asked for periodically. Once asked it will publish on the newsfeed and your friends can help. They will receive one for helping as well. There is a limit on how many one can have at a given time based on robbing level.
- Burner was forged in Rivendell and made specifically for Mermiach Hamwich. He used it in the Civil War, before the Civil War whenever he was attacked by Orcs their skin would burn if they get near. It would later become a family sword. Burner was then used by Gerbulas Hamwich in his Quest to defeat the Dark Lord. When he was ambushed by Orcs he used it to scare them away and used it again in the Dark Lord's tower. Burner was used centuries later by a descendant of Mermiach and Gerbulas, Bado Boffin, he then used it in his quest to defeat Salon The Stone-giant.
- Some time later, Mutant Force became the Resistants, a mutant terrorist group in opposition to the Mutant Registration Act, and mutant rights activists. Burner changed his name to Crucible during his time with the Resistants. The Resistants rescued the mutant Quill from the custody of then-current fifth Captain America and Bucky. The Resistants then rescued Mentallo from the Guardsmen's custody, and battled Captain America and Bucky again. During the battle, Crucible was accidentally non-fatally shot by Mentallo (who had taken the name Think-Tank). Crucible was later seen trying to bring down Captain America at the behest of the Red Skull, but was severely injured in the fight. Apparently recovered, he was later among the Resistants protesting in Washington for mutant rights, where he enco
