He acquired his first Hollywood job in 1985, working as an assistant for Sylvester Stallone on Rocky IV. He began working in craft services with the production of Poltergeist III in 1987. Since then, Kehoe has worked in the craft service department on such films as Last Action Hero, Speed, Jerry Maguire, Mousehunt, Enemy of the State, The General's Daughter, Almost Famous, The Fast and the Furious, Panic Room, xXx, Evan Almighty, and the 2007 remake of Halloween. He has also worked on several movies starring Tom Cruise, including Mission: Impossible II, Vanilla Sky, The Last Samurai, Collateral, and the aforementioned Mission: Impossible III. Kehoe founded the film company Taughannock Entertainment in 1994, through which he has produced a number of independent films and short subjects which he wrote and/or directed himself. The first was the short film Second Dance, which was an official selection at the Sundance Film Festival. Subsequent projects from Taughannock include Dominion, The Art of a Bullet, and The Dark Angel and the Passing of the Torch Chapter 7, the last of which is based on a graphic novel Kehoe co-developed in 1994. In addition, Kehoe directed and co-developed a special for Food Network entitled Catering: Impossible.
