As a result, he began trying to live life to the fullest by buying extravagant gifts for Matt, such as a cruise to the Bahamas, citing that he had to do things like that then while he had a chance. Matt wasn't as accepting of his new attitude. As a result, Jeffrey decided that he shouldn't be in a relationship and broke up with Matt.
