The player heads to the entrance area where two KnightChessmon are blocking the gate with the leaders of Night Claw and Light Fang. The mysterious figure escapes with ease, leaving everybody with questions and concern. The scene shifts to Glare congratulating the player for his/her performance and rewards him/her with a Gift Card that allows the player to own a Farm Island. After telling Gatomon, the player's NaviDigimon about it, she notices the player looking tired from the tournament. She tells him/her to get some rest, and the day then ends. The next day, everybody was talking about the Normal Tournament, but then disaster strikes when a mysterious virus enters the Shine Gate and turns all Digimon in the CITY to Digi-eggs and all humans under some kind of hypnosis. Gatomon then wakes up the player and alarms him/her about the current situation and the digimon that the player currently has turned in to rookies. The player quickly heads for the room where Chief Glare and Ophanimon is stationed. There, the virus already got the leaders in to a trance too, and it was up to the player to defeat the strange virus. After the battle, Glare and Ophanimon wake up and thank the player for saving them. The entire CITY though wasn't so lucky. All the Digimon have gone back to their In-Training form except for Ophanimon and a few others, and the access areas have been completely cut off with no way of going in. At least the virus was gone...right?
