- Guthan's warspear is een melee wapen dat deel uitmaakt van Guthan the Infested's set van barrows. Guthan's warspear is een 2-hands wapen en om het te dragen heb je 70 Attack nodig. Dit wapen heeft de op-twee-na beste melee defence voor een wapen, enkel overtroffen door Zamorak Spear en de Maple Blackjack (d). Het is trouwens ook een van de duurste speren in het spel. Guthan's heeft redelijke stats maar word meestal gebruikt om te healen, waardoor de speler geen voedsel mee hoeft te nemen. Veel mensen vechten in hun normale armour en trekken dan Guthan's aan als ze lage Hitpoints hebben.
- It is the second most accurate spear in game, surpassed only by the Zamorakian spear/hasta, which has +85 Stab. If Guthan's warspear is wielded together with all other pieces of Guthan's armour set, then successful melee attacks have a 25% chance of restoring health to the user equal to the damage dealt to the target.

- Guthan's warspear in its unused or fully charged state may be combined with a corruption sigil to create a corrupted defender. If Guthan's warspear is wielded and other pieces of equipment of the barrows set are worn simultaneously, the player receives the set effect: successful attacks have a chance of replenishing one Life point for each damage the player deals. Many players believe this is one of the most useful weapons in the game because its healing is ideal for any combat minigames and training, with minimum food. Despite Guthan's armour having more than average combat stats and the spear being a very feasible weapon, it is mostly used by players to heal (and saves space that would have been used bringing food) and then they revert back to their regular melee armour.
