Gilad is a fictional princedom in Melanie Rawn's fantasy novels of the Dragon Prince and Dragon Star Trilogies. Gilad is a southern princedom. In 728 there was an incident involving a Sunrunner misdiagnosing a wealthy merchant. The debate whether Gilad or Goddess Keep got to try the Sunrunner was taken before the High Prince, who decided that it was his jurisdiction as neither Gilad's Prince nor the Lord of Goddess Keep could come to an agreement.
