Album: English Settlement, Transistor Blast, Fossil Fuel, Upsy Daisy Assortment Song Notes: If I recall, this is one of the many XTC singles to win them an award for sleeve design. Some versions of this single came with a cutout sleeve with little paper characters to act out the story in the song. The single also included the lyrics in script form, however, I do not believe any other version was recorded, i.e. with the various characters portrayed by other voices than Andy Partridge's (or even with him doing various silly voices, even. Though that would be pretty awesome.) A really well-put together song, and one I really dig, but for some reason don't quite set well enough with me to become a favorite, and I don't really know why. It's very good. - Rev. Syung Myung Me
