- Mercer is Lord Merchandy, the guild lord of Kothifir over the merchant trades. He once had a wife, and a baby daughter. They both died. After that, he adopted Shandanielle like his own.

- Mercer was a character on Xena: Warrior Princess. He was the leader of the defense against the Horde. He allowed Xena to take command of his army, after he realized that she knew the Horde and how to control an army. He was sent out by Xena to find reinforcements, but because he did not follow Xena's instructions he did not make it. During the temporary truce, Mercer was found injured and retrieved by the Athenians. In the end, Mercer survived the encounter after Xena defeated the Horde leader. He was played by Charles Mesure.

He joined COBRA for the adventure and the promise of material gain, but soon grew dissatisfied with the COBRA philosophy. To escape COBRA Island, he hot-wired a hydrofoil and outran his pursuers. - Doctor Mercer was a Human doctor who worked for the xenophobic terrorist group Terra Prime, based out of the Orpheus Mining colony on the moon. In that capacity, he was responsible for the creation of a binary clone from the genetic material of Commanders Charles Tucker and T'Pol. Mercer was played by Patrick Fischler. In the final draft script of "Demons", Mercer was described as being in his "40's" as of 2155.

| Intro
| - Mercer is the ship's cook on the Buccaneer's Bacchanal and is one of Captain Scarlett's crew. He makes no appearance in person, but ECHOs messages in a couple of side-missions. Notably he is also the man responsible for the attempted execution of Shiv-Spike, or at least he would have been had Shiv-Spike been at all palatable to any desert carnivores. When he's not executing other crew members, or cooking up shoe polish, Mercer is known to be quite vocal in his high regard for the scurvy-blocking properties of vitamin C.
