Jacques Henri-Laffite (born November 21, 1943) is a former French Formula One racing driver who competed in the sport from 1974 until 1986. Laffite was one of the most experienced racers of his generation, in his last Formula One race at the 1986 British Grand Prix, Laffite equaled Graham Hill's record for most Grand Prix started. Laffite co-held this record with Hill until 1989 when the record was broken by Riccardo Patrese. Since 1997, Laffite has been an analyst and commentator for the French Formula One coverage on TF1.
