  • Mushin meaned "no-thought" or "no-mind" and was one of the most important concepts in the dueling style Niten. It meaned to act without thought, freeing the spirit to become one with all the five elements and the universe. Some called this "kime" or "kiho", or focusing one's ki (life force).
  • Mushin is a powerful martial artist and heir to the Naryu Empire that is one member of the Four Guardians. During the era of the Naryu Empire, he sacrificed his life on the Earthen Realm to close a Dark Portal by throwing himself through it to seal it from the other side. He is currently assumed to be in the Dark Realm.

The reason is it is heavily Muslim, and a strict enforcement of Muslim law, or Sharia, is enforced. It is a merchant district, and anything can be bought and sold here except of course alcohol, drugs or prostitutes. It is home to the Ojuwoye market, the largest market in the city.
  • Mushin (梦 心 oder むしん dt. Traumgeist oder Träumer) ist ein älterer buddhistischer Mönch, der Miroku nach dem Tod seines Vaters bei sich aufzog. Mushin hat eher wenig ausgeprägte, geistige Fähigkeiten im Gegensatz zu Miyatsu oder Mirokus Vater. Was er jedoch als einziger kann ist die Reparatur von Mirokus Kazaana, wenn dieses einmal beschädigt wurde. Er lehrte Miroku als buddhistischen Mönch und sah ihn wie einen eigenen Sohn. Mushin hat mit seiner recht offenen Einstellung wohl mit dazu beigetragen, dass Miroku jede Frau anbaggert, in erster Linie um für Nachwuchs zu sorgen, da er einen frühen Tod durch sein Kazaana befürchtet. Aber Mirokus Sexualtrieb ist auch einfach nur etwas zu überentwickelt, seine lüsterne/perverse Moral ist eine Eigenart seiner Familie.
