Wayne convinces the psychiatrist to give him the approval and let him go. In the elevator, Wayne encounters Oswald Cobblepot, his apparent partner. Outside the building, Wayne meets with Commissioner Gordon. On the way to Harvey Dent's home, whose children have been kidnapped by the Joker, Wayne reflects about Gotham and its current situation. In Dent's's house, the latter accuses the police force to be inefficient. Wayne leaves with Gordon and the two talk before Wayne gets into the Batcave. After a struggle, during which Batman remembers the murder of his family by an armed robber, Batman takes Croc's knife and stabs it into Croc's face, killing him.
