Outside the building, Wayne meets with Commissioner Gordon. On the way to Harvey Dent's home, whose children have been kidnapped by the Joker, Wayne reflects about Gotham and its current situation. After a struggle, during which Batman remembers the murder of his family by an armed robber, Batman takes Croc's knife and stabs it into Croc's face, killing him. Meanwhile, in an unknown location, the Joker has Dent's children.
