The Reich Ministry of Finance (Reichsfinanzministerium), abbreviated RFM, is the cabinet-level finance ministry of the New German Reich, with its seat at the Detlev-Rohwedder-Haus at Wilhelmstraße 97, in Berlin. The current Reich Minister of Finance is Heinrich Eduard von Flottwell. The Ministry is the supreme authority in revenue administration and governs a number of subordinate authorities such as the Reichsbank. The finance minister is the only cabinet minister who can veto a decision of the government if it would lead to additional expenditure.
