- Gand was the homeworld of the Gand.
- Gand was the homeworld of the Gand. It was quite foggy, though not as foggy as Dagobah, more of a misty type of deal. When traveling through the enshrouding mists, one would occasionally come across a helpful sign that read "FOG AREA." Though, since the planet was almost entirely composed of fog, such signs became quite redundant. Actually, no one really knows what the hell lurks within the lavender mists of Gand; some say that the Force itself can be found there, while others (most notably fanboys) assert that the gloom actually hides many hot Twi'lek, Zeltron and Selonian babes.

- A gaseous planet, Gand's atmosphere was comprised primarily of ammonia, which made it lethal to most galactic lifeforms. At some point, however, the Sith had invaded the planet prior to the arrival of the Exiles on Korriban.[6] Gand was discovered prior to 3951 BBY, during the Kanz Disorders. The isolated world was not located on any major hyperlanes and was not involved in the spice trade. Largely overlooked,[1] the planet was later overrun by the Galactic Empire, whose agents brought sophisticated sensor equipment on-world, to the detriment of the native findsmen.[3] During the Galactic Civil War, Gand remained uninvolved in the affairs, aside from the participation of individuals. In recent years, the planet escaped invasion during the Yuuzhan Vong War, and had no participation in the Second Galactic Civil War.
