10-man Rovers suffered their first ever defeat to Dagenham & Redbridge in this League One clash. Both teams were sitting in the relegation zone and struggling for survival in the division, but the Daggers proved to be better team on the day and ran out 2–0 winners. The game would prove to be manager Dave Penney's last at the club, the poor form causing him to be relieved of his duties two days later after just 13 games in charge.

| - 10-man Rovers suffered their first ever defeat to Dagenham & Redbridge in this League One clash. Both teams were sitting in the relegation zone and struggling for survival in the division, but the Daggers proved to be better team on the day and ran out 2–0 winners. The game featured two brothers playing on opposite sides, Jerel Ifil was included in the Rovers lineup, while Phil played in the Dagenham back four. It was not to be Jerel's day however, and when he brought down Romain Vincelot on the edge of the area late in the first half it was adjudged to have been a professional foul and he was sent off. Dagenham, who were managed by former Rovers assistant boss John Still, took the lead from the resultant free kick, before doubling their advantage late in the game. This was Rovers' eighth defeat in their last nine games, and it dropped them to 23rd place in the league. The game would prove to be manager Dave Penney's last at the club, the poor form causing him to be relieved of his duties two days later after just 13 games in charge.
