- Shion Uzuki is the main protagonist and heroine of the entire Xenosaga series (with the exception of Xenosaga: Pied Piper which focuses on Ziggy). Shion is the daughter of Suou Uzuki and Aoi Uzuki and younger sister of Jin Uzuki, her older brother. Shion Uzuki was born in the year 4745 on planet Miltia. Shion is a survivor of the Miltian Conflict, a horrible war that killed her parents and destroyed Miltia, sealing it into the Abyss. Having witnessed the brutal deaths of her mother and father when she was eight years old, Shion became orphaned, suffering from depression and trauma.
- Shion Uzuki is the main protagonist of the Xenosaga series. She was born on Old Miltia before the deaths of her parents during the Miltian Conflict. She blamed her brother, Jin Uzuki, for their deaths and continued to hold a grudge fourteen years later, after she's become a researcher and scientist for Vector Industries serving aboard the Galaxy Federation vessel the Woglinde as the head of the KOS-MOS Project, one devoted to designing an anti-Gnosis battle android. Gnosis attacked and destroyed the ship, as it was transporting a Zohar Emulator, and, aside from a few others who had made it to escape pods, only Shion, Allen Ridgeley, a member of her team; KOS-MOS, who had activated herself to save Shion; and Admiral Cherenkov survived.
