  • The story is set a thousand years after the destruction of the Hole Diggers' space station, DwarfStar. Clones of Lewis, Simon, and Duncan were flung into space at the time of the DwarfStar's destruction, and are now revived. At some point, this new Lewis continued the J.A.F.F.A. space program, built a new space station and recovered Simon's and Duncan's clones. Many Yognau(gh)ts theorize that this series is of prime importance to the "Shadow of Israphel" chain of events and is influential to the storyline. This is due to the theme of the cloning of all 3 heroes and alternate dimensions.

The main goal of this series to fill in every block of the victory monument and fill in one of every item from the Minecraft Periodic Table. The space station is also partially damaged, and restoring it is also a primary goal of the series. Between Episodes 8-9, Lewis accidentally skipped an entire play session when uploading the episodes, resulting in part 11 going up under the title of part 8. As a result, three episodes were uploaded afterwards, named episode 7a, 7b, and 7c, which were originally episodes 8, 9, and 10, respectively Many Yognau(gh)ts theorize that this series is of prime importance to the "Shadow of Israphel" chain of events and is influential to the storyline. This is due to the theme of the cloning of all 3 heroes and alternate dimensions. Deep Space Mine was placed on hiatus during the 2014 Christmas Livestreams, and never returned thereafter.
