The Moderate Party or more commonly called 'the Moderates' is a right-wing political party in the Holy Luthori Empire. The party was founded in April 3985 by then party leader Francis Urquhart. In just one year he had managed to get the moderate party in to parlament. The second election went even better with the moderate party earning over 7% of the vote. However quickly after the moderate party sat down in the cabinet things started to go wrong. The moderate party laid two different budgets. One of which had massive cuts in education to fund the military. This caused a uproar despite it not being close to passing. Almost every single union in the country went on strike to protest the proposed budget. After a few weeks the moderate party was kicked out of the cabinet and set their sights

Almost every single union in the country went on strike to protest the proposed budget. After a few weeks the moderate party was kicked out of the cabinet and set their sights on communism. A constant campaign against communism was held by the moderate party leading to high tensions between the moderates and the communists of luthori. Tensions that are still alive to this day. Francis Urquhart resigned after the election in 3991 where the new party leader Stephanie McBain was introduced. Stephanie had earlier been a minster and proven record so she was the one who was next.
