Renfry was the Cremator of Monitor, a city on the Serpent Isle in Ultima VII Part Two. A member of the Wolf Command, Renfry was a Knight of Monitor, though his fighting days were long done by the time the Avatar eventually came to Serpent Isle. Renfry operated the city's Crematorium, which was used for all Knights and Pikemen of the city. He placed the ashes in urns built by Andral, the town sculptor, and then interred them in the Houses of the Dead. Considered a pleasant fellow by the other people of the city, he nevertheless was thought to take his job a little too seriously. The loud noises of the Crematory machine had taken a toll on his hearing by his later life.

Renfry operated the city's Crematorium, which was used for all Knights and Pikemen of the city. Considered a pleasant fellow by the other people of the city, he nevertheless was thought to take his job a little too seriously. The loud noises of the Crematory machine had taken a toll on his hearing by his later life. Lord Marsten, the current leader of the city, authorized Renfry to pay money from the treasury to anyone who brought the body of a Pikeman to the Crematorium for proper funeral services. Like most of the people of Monitor, Renfry was killed when the Bane of Wantonness (possessing the body of Dupre) conquered the city at the head of a huge army of Goblins and other ferocious monsters.
