| - Captain America, along with hundreds of other heroes, was created in one of Victor von Doom's laboratories. The original Captain America had been murdered, and his DNA put into a clone body. He was given implanted memories, but they are hazy.
He remembers that he was born in the early 80's, and that his father was in the army, and his mother was a nurse. He grew up as the typical American child, he was big, strong, he loved to play football, and he dreamed of following in his father's footstops. But all at the same time, he was extremely arrogant. When he graduated High School, he joined the army, but he was inducted into a secret project titled "Project: Rebirth". He was the first subject, and it turned him into a super solder with enhanced strength, speed, and fighting skills. He was gifted with a vibranium shield to use in battle, and a pair of dual pistols, which he preferred using. After he became Captain America, the Project was shut down due to unstable side effects it had on all of the subjects that volunteered after Steve.
He later left the army to become a full time superhero, and he joined a superhero team called "The Avengers", with fellow superheroes Iron Man, Thor, and Hulk. He and Iron Man became best friends, but that was where his memories started getting hazy. Because that was when he escaped.
There was currently a breakout going on in the labs, by a clone of the superhero called Quicksilver, and the scientists tried to put Captain America's pod in lock down, but Quicksilver freed him in the commotion. He was thankful for about two seconds, before he realized that it was now every man for himself. He easily fought off the scientists and ran for his life, but Quicksilver followed him, which annoyed Cap. Much more to his annoyance, Quicksilver picked him up and ran him all the way out of the castle without a good fight. When they were just out of enemy lines, Cap got out of Quicksilver's hold and started yelling at him. Quicksilver didn't want to argue with Cap, but he was trying to be reasonable. As they continued to fight, three more people, who they presumed were also test subjects, got out of the castle's range. Captain America recognized one of them as his former teammate, Iron Man. But the other two he was unfamiliar with, but they introduced themselves as Ms. Marvel and Spider-Man. Cap decided to keep his mouth shut, despite the fact that he wanted to ask Iron Man what was going on. Luckily, everyone was wondering the same thing as Spider-Man wondered it aloud. Iron Man said that since he was the one who had staged the breakout, he discovered that they were being held captive by a man named Victor von Doom, who apparently ruled most of the world. The five of them were heroes who opposed him, but they were taken and he attempted to reeducate them in order to serve him. Ms. Marvel was infuriated at this news, and she blasted an energy beam from her hand at the castle, which surprised Cap. After Iron Man calmed her down, the five of them got moving.
They agreed to stay together in order to think of a plan, but they would not go back into the castle. They got pretty far away after stealing a van from a nearby building. But they were wrong to think they would get lucky, as an army of Doombots was already in pursuit. Captain America was driving, so he didn't have time to worry about it, but Iron Man was already on the job. Ms. Marvel seemed a little too happy to be going into battle, and this worried Cap. If she was going to be his teammate, she was going to get used to playing by his rules. Cap then noticed that Spider-Man was still in the car, and he yelled at him to get out and fight, and he reluctantly obeyed. It took a while, but the Doombots were finally defeated. After a few more hours of driving they finally reached a city, that Spider-Man recognized as New York. Ms. Marvel destroyed the car in order to get rid of any evidence, and Cap was just amazed at how dense she was. He assumed Doom wouldn't care about a car, but for now his only choice was to go with them.
