Colin Wainwright was an Umbrella executive, representing their United Kingdom Division. He survived the initial phases of the global t-Virus outbreak, and held meetings via hologram to the other surviving base leaders. In 2007, he reported seventeen casualties, and food supplies being reduced to 28% at their London base. Due to there being more survivors in Europe, Wainwright held the view that the viral outbreak would inevitably be halted, something Sam Isaacs in the former US disagreed with.
