Lord Aleksandr IV Harkonnen (reigned 966 AG-1029 AG) was the father of Vladimir II Harkonnen. He supported the ambitions of his demicousin, Feyd al-Feyd, engineering his election to the throne in 1027 AG; Feyd returned the favor by having Aleksandr executed in 1029 AG, and placing his small son in a foster home, raised without the knowledge of his father's background.
