O. Henry Hill is one of the three larger hills that surround the main Whateley campus. Located towards the South, it defines the "coed branch" of student housing: the hill is topped by Melville Cottage, the newest and largest dorm, which houses exclusively students who can pass for baseline humans. In the hill’s shadow but further out is Poe Cottage, also inhabited by "passable" students but with their own particularities. Beyond those two and in a small sheltered area is Hawthorne Cottage, which houses the students with special needs.

Beyond those two and in a small sheltered area is Hawthorne Cottage, which houses the students with special needs. Besides the bricked paths suitable for either pedestrians of vehicles, there's also a stairway towards the main campus. The tunnel linking Hawthorne (and more recently, Poe) to the central campus passes beneath the hill. During Winter snow-related activities, O.Henry Hill is traditionally reserved for athletic activities.
