The Security Chief's Seconds were the assistants of the Security Chief, or constable, of the city of Bartyn's Landing in Lamaredd. The Chief could chose his Seconds among citizens whom he trusted. Like the Chief, the Seconds were employees of the Outer Rim Oreworks Company, and wore an ORO insignia. C. 69 BBY, Chief Ertine and most of his Seconds died in a trap of Byrch Dyshkava. The only surviving Second, Mix Liddell, was appointed the new Chief. Liddell recruited several Seconds, including his friend Grubber Vapps, and they stopped Dyshkava. In time, Vapps was promoted to Senior Second.

Due to his position, he tried to hire some new Seconds.
