Versatility and Survivability The Great Weapon Fighter can be effective in any combat situation. Abilities such as Avalanche of Steel can be used to clear crowds with area-of-effect damage when your party is overrun. To gain the upper hand in combat, lead the charge by using your Slam ability to slow enemies allowing your party to finish them with ease. If your party is surrounded, use the mighty battle chant, Roar, to knock groups back for a vital second wind. In desperate situations, the Great Weapon Fighter can cast Daring Shout to mark nearby enemies – the stronger the enemies, the more defenses he gains to fend them off while his party recovers. Finally, use Sprint, a rechargeable Utility Power, to close the distance on anyone attempting to escape their fate and deal the finishing blow!
