Ghana Armed Forces are the Army, Navy, and Air Force of Ghana. The forces are supervised by the Ghanaian Ministry of Defence. Ghana's supreme military commander is the President of the Republic of Ghana. The supervision of the Ghana armed forces is managed by the Ministry of Defence and the Chief of Defence Staff. In 2013, Ghana agreed closer military cooperation with China.
