Among the cast were Ren Faire veteran's Tim Ferguson, Rian Murphy, and Eric Forsberg, as well as hired actors, Laura Kellog, Walter Lewis, Thor Forsberg, Paul Shultz, Byron Kelly and Theresa Hutchinson. At the time it was performed, the Great Treasure Hunt was unofficially, the largest treasure hunt in the world, according to the Guiness Book of World Records, during the screening process for inclusion.
