Truman represented the United States at the Sao Paulo Peace Accords, albeit reluctantly. At the previous Montpelier Conference, Truman advocated continuing the war with the Soviet Union. However, he listened to the majority and surrendered at the conference to avoid the "full brunt of the Soviet Union on American shores." Truman is considered to be the first President of the Vicious Cycle of American politics, a line which ended with Mike Huckabee, the President of the Confederate States of America in the Fourth World War.
