Synopsis
  • The battle is great, but the Asgardians are defeated. Thor awakens in a dungeon, and discovers that the food is drugged, keeping the rest of the Asgardians enthralled. Thor breaks free, and frees Hildegarde and Tana Nile who have yet to be drugged. They meet up with Gregor and his resistance and agree to help them overthrow Sssthgar and the Vrellnexians. They destroy the drug factories and abandon Sssthgar to the former slaves of Golden Star, but not before he tells Thor that Sif was sold to some miners in the Dark Nebula.
Notes
  • * No letters page is published this issue. In its place is a full page cover reproduction ad for the classic Amazing Spider-Man #122 with a signed John Romita, Sr. cover. Another page has a full page advertisment for Tales of the Zombie Vol 1. * Heimdall is obviously behind the scenes this issue. He was shown being defeated by the Vrellnexians in Thor #212 and will be seen aboard Thor's Space Boat with his fellow Asgardians next issue.
quotation
  • Thy minions did merely annoy me treacherous one. Now nothing doth stand between us --- save the BATTLE and the GLORY!
