Gefron was a killercraft pilot of the Race's Conquest Fleet. He flew several missions during the 1942 invasion of Tosev 3. He was part of Teerts's squadron. Teerts though Gefron an excellent pilot, but that he would never become a squadron commander. Ironically, when Teerts was shot down over Japan and captured, Gefron succeeded him. He and his squad were soon based out of Warsaw. Thus, Gefron's raid on Ploetsi was met by the largest number of Tosevite aircraft Gefron had seen since the fighting began. The raid proved successful, but the refinery was brought back on line quickly.

Teerts though Gefron an excellent pilot, but that he would never become a squadron commander. Ironically, when Teerts was shot down over Japan and captured, Gefron succeeded him. He and his squad were soon based out of Warsaw. Gefron led the Race's attack on the oilfields of Ploesti, Romania, which were Germany's only source of oil at that point in the fighting. Gefron carelessly discussed the mission in front of Nathan Brodsky, a Jewish laborer on the killercraft base. Brodsky informed Mordechai Anielewicz, who didn't quite want Germany knocked out of the war. Anielewicz in turn notified Lt. Commander Michael Spiegel, the German commander of Satu Mare, Romania. Thus, Gefron's raid on Ploetsi was met by the largest number of Tosevite aircraft Gefron had seen since the fighting began. The raid proved successful, but the refinery was brought back on line quickly.
